Related Item Quantity Changes when Revising (not editing) Quotes
We have related items that pull through when one code is entered, e.g. a fence panel pulls in 2 posts and 4 brackets at no charge, and these quantities automatically update when the quote is edited.
We use quote revisions instead of edits, and when the quantity of the parent product is adjusted on a revision, it adds new lines with the related items instead of adjusting the quantity of the existing related item, and the old lines have to be manually deleted each time.
This can be time-consuming and confusing on quotes with multiple products as there are multiple related items with varying quantities.
Anyone know how this can be sorted?
Thanks

Not I, but could you quickly explain why revisions work better for you than editing a quote? Cheers.

Mainly so we can keep track of changes made by the customer and also who entered them, and have all the quote revisions available to use, eg. if the customer decides to go back to the original quote.
Not much of a justification I know - I'm trying to sort an issue that I don't know much about for one of our team…
