HARMONiQ automatically tracks all additions, edits, and deletions across the system through its audit trail. This feature allows you to see what changes were made, by whom, and on which workstation. For example, if the price of a product has been updated, you can check which user made the change and when it was done.
You can view the audit trail at different levels within HARMONiQ. It is possible to see an overall company-wide audit trail, the audit trail for specific records within a list, or even the audit history for a particular field within a screen.
To access the audit trail for the entire system, open the Audit Trail list. This provides a full record of all tracked changes. Selecting an entry with an Action Type of 'Update' will display details of the modification at the bottom of the screen. You can also select View-CR or press Enter to see the exact screen where the change was made.

In this example, to track changes made to a specific purchase order, open the Purchase Order List. Right-click on a purchase order, then select Actions | View Audit Trail from the context menu. This will display a log of any modifications made to that purchase order. Selecting an entry at the top will show further details at the bottom of the screen.

HARMONiQ also allows you to track changes at a more granular level. For example, if you want to see the audit history for a specific field within a product record, open the Product List and select a product. Click Edit-F3 to edit the product, change a field such as the Primary Stock Bin, press Enter, then select Save-F9 to save the change.

To view the audit history of the field, open the product again, right-click on the modified field, and select Show Audit History from the context menu. HARMONiQ will display the full audit history for that field, including the change you just made and any previous modifications. Selecting an entry at the top will reveal additional details below.

Other options available in the audit trail context menu include View Audit Trail (Archived) to access older audit records, Show Complete Audit Updates to display a more detailed view of all updates and Show Complete Audit Updates (Archived) to provide a complete audit history, including archived changes.
By using these audit trail features, you can efficiently track modifications across HARMONiQ and ensure full visibility over system changes.
