When you first log in to HARMONiQ, you will see the ribbon menu at the top of the screen. This is similar to the ribbon menus in Microsoft Office products like Word and Excel.

The top part of the ribbon menu (as highlighted above) contains a separate tab for each HARMONiQ module - i.e. Sales, Purchasing, Stock, Distribution, Production, CRM & Marketing, Accounts etc.
Clicking on a tab opens the menu for that module, e.g. clicking on the Purchasing and Stock tab displays the Purchasing and Stock menu.

Within each module menu, the menu options are grouped by function as shown below, e.g. New Items, Purchasing, Products, Stock and Suppliers.

Module and menu options can also be selected using the keyboard. For example, if you press and release the Alt key in the Sales menu, HARMONiQ displays the keyboard shortcuts for the main modules.

As highlighted above, with the shortcuts displayed, typing 'pu' will select the Purchasing and Stock tab.

Notice that each option on the Purchasing and Stock menu now has its own keyboard shortcut displayed. So, to select the Purchase Orders option, you can either type 'pr' or click the Purchase Orders option with the mouse.

Once a menu option is selected using the shortcut key, the keyboard shortcuts disappear and you have to use the mouse from that point on.
If you press the Alt key within a module's menu, the shortcuts displayed are those of the other main modules, e.g.:

This allows you to quickly switch to another module by typing its shortcut letter(s) rather than having to select the module's tab with the mouse.
